MORE HEALTH's mission is to provide health and safety education to children and their families. We sponsor and participate in different community activities to bring health information to children and their families outside of school lessons.

 

Classes held 9:00am – 1:00pm at the Tampa General Community Health Education Center located at 740 S. Village Circle, Tampa, Florida 33606. Supersitter classes include pediatric CPR training. Cost $25.00 per student. To register, call (813) 287-5032.

Firearm Safety program for the entire family presented by MORE HEALTH and other community experts. Children receive a separate firearm safety lesson from MORE HEALTH while parents are presented information regarding preventative measures to reduce handgun injuries, especially among children.

Bike helmets, all sizes, are available for free or at low-cost to students. To receive a helmet, call MORE HEALTH (813) 287-5032. The helmet program is sponsored by Ferman Motor Car Company,  the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Department of Transportation, Safe Routes to School.
